Фонтан-пам’ятник Афганцям

Цей фонтан встановили ще в 60-ті роки минулого століття, але останні 30 років він не працював. За тривалий час обладнання і комунікації фонтану прийшли в негідність, а чаші фонтану були сильно зруйновані та засмічені.

Наприкінці 2017 року цей фонтан почали ремонтувати, і вже у 2018 році  відкрили до святкування 74-ї річниці визволення Одеси від нацистських окупантів, яка відзначалася 10 квітня.

Під час реконструкції фахівці повністю замінили чаші фонтану, технічне приміщення та комунікації. А сам фонтан оснастили інженерними системами водопостачання, водовідведення та електропостачання.

Fountain Monument to Afghans. This fountain was installed back in the 60s of the last century, but it has not been working for the past 30 years. Over a long period of time, the equipment and utilities of the fountain became unfit for use, and the bowls of the fountain were heavily destroyed and clogged.

At the end of 2017, this fountain began to be repaired, and already in 2018, it was opened to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the liberation of Odesa from the Nazi occupiers, which was celebrated on 10 April.

During the reconstruction, professionals completely replaced the bowls of the fountain, technical premises and utilities. And the fountain itself was equipped with utility systems of water supply, drainage and electricity supply.
